YES! Another
Hinterberger vacation; come, and sadly... gone. Despite the fact of it seeming to be only 1 1/2 days long, vacation this year, I have to say, has been one of the best - if not THE best - vacation I have been on thus far. The mix of the
Wilbergerein's, sun, beach, ocean, food and friends perfectly complemented each other in almost every humanly manner. This time I have a ton of pictures that I have uploaded for your enjoyment, so instead of the normal paragraphs (which are never normal when I write them anyway), I'm writing comments on most of them telling things about them. So... Here ya are! (Please note that almost none of these are taken by myself, since I was I'm sure having a WAY better time somewhere else. Either that or crying because I hadn't come.)
Cool.

This is across the street at sunset... Got some pretty awesome silhouette action
goin' on here.
Cool again...
Nice waves.
Happy Easter! Yeah, on Easter Morning, just before Sunrise, we all gathered (sadly the Holbeins weren't there yet) on the beach and sang songs and read the crucifixion story. (To the far left there you can see Jonathan and his cool self with the guitar)

There we all are before the service... Kudos to (I think) Isaac for making the sign!

Okay that's just wicked cool. Taken on Easter morning also.
Awww nice picture of Momma
Wilber. :)

A semi-funny good picture of
Mattea on Saturday morning before we left... But what can I say, any picture with her face in it is by definition funny!
hehe I hope I don't get beat up for that...

Well isn't that just cute! Oh, well now, that's me! What a coincidence...

Good Mother/Daughter picture also taken on the day - *sniff - of - *sniff - leaving -
WAAAAA!!

The two non-biologically related sisters...

Nice One...

This is one from a
photoshoot that they did the day before we left.

... In the Napping House, where everyone is sleeping. Or trying to.

Again, part of the
photoshoot...
Mik's gangsta side.

Alright, so on Thursday, Dad went down to the little surf shop and got a couple
paddleboards, which are basically just big fat hollow surfboards. What you do is you stand up on them once you got your balance, and then paddle around. It's actually a LOT of fun. Later on you'll see me and Eric riding on the ocean. That was SO fun.
Stah Finguz!
Awww.

Nice random picture.

Good picture of
Pappa Wilber, relaxing.

This is a good example of how
Sanna likes to "swim." When she goes for a swim, this is pretty much the mode of operations: Run into ocean for 12 feet. Run back out of ocean. Run into ocean for 10 feet. Jump over 2 small waves. Run out of ocean again. Run into ocean again. Run out of ocean. Run into ocean. Jump over 3 slightly larger waves (ooh, adventurous). Run out of ocean. Run around wildly and then start writing smiley faces in the sand with toes.

OK, even if she doesn't actually swim very well, you have to love her anyway just because she's SO CUTE!

Me on Saturday morning at our friends house in Virginia (thankfully we get to cut the 15-hour drive in half by staying the night).

Isaac using the force.
Sanna and her cute little self yet again.

OK... creeper/funny face from
Maryah, thanks for that, moving on...

Okay, this one I absolutely LOVE! Reminds me of something I saw in a zoo a few years ago...

This one too, surprisingly enough...

And this one.

Oh, great masters of
Kung Fu.

One of the best pics yet!

I'm not quite sure about this one, because these were just a few strange life forms that I saw on a walk and they interested me. Wait a second...

What? No, this isn't my father, HA! The idea...

Who do YOU think you're taking a picture of??

Me and my little cup of pizza/Parmesan goldfish... That were gone within about three hours because of some little elves I'm sure...

Grizzly Adams starting to make his Sundae on Friday night, Maria's birthday :)

Hmmmm... I don't exactly know what to think of this picture, But the word CREEP does come to mind somehow...

This is so cool it's almost disgusting!

Aha, as I said, here's me and Grizzly out on the ocean with our paddleboards; we were going to circle around the peninsula and come back by way of the dock, but we were renting them and they had to go back.

Seagull!!

Yes folks, that glob of stuff and the three globs in the distance are dead jellyfish. Where we were they just littered the beach, and if you weren't careful you could step on some during your walks. And also, when me and Eric were out on the ocean, there were tons of them just floating along beneath us! Occasionally we'd just poke one for fun, and some we found actually had small crabs attached to them! Not the best place to fall in, I'd say...

This is at the end of the breaker right next to us, it was pretty fun just to go out on it and walk back and forth on low tide.

The breaker, again.

This is our floating dock at low tide. I know it's low tide because at high tide this little bridge is a lot less steep.

Another seagull!! I just love these little guys :)

This is a teeny little crab we found on a walk on Tuesday, I think. We also got one like this in one of our crab traps at one point.

This is a pretty cool, different-looking, kinda turte-like crab we found on another walk.

Something Maryah neatly wrote as they were walking along the beach. The reason I say "they," is because i was still at the house waiting for the next wave of people walkers to take me with them. Because I got up late. And I had no breakfast.

Nice shot of our little inlet around our dock, showing the stillness of the water. This is why we started out with the paddleboards on here, not the ocean. This is also why riding on the ocean was so much MORE fun.

Nice picture by Jonathan.

Nice picture again by Jonathan. We would often go over near the breaker to find little minnows and hermit crabs, which was a lot of fun. :)

Not a very happy little clam shell on Easter morning. I don't know why, because A: it was Easter morning, and B: It got adopted by Mrs. Wilber!

The invisible doorway...
So, that seems to be all! i hope you guys enjoyed it, I certainly did! tootles :)
